Please note that updates to firmware version 02.00.01 need a special update license and can't be flashed to a device without this license!

If you try to flash this version to a blue PiraT2 without this license, the logger is set into error mode and has to be flashed again with the latest working version for using this device again.

Please take care that you are useing the firmware Version that fits to your hardware version if you use an firmware earlier that version 1.7.3. The hardware version can either be seen on the type label of the data logger or read out with the program "Update firmware"..

Downgrades to older firmware versions are not tested and therefore not supported by us. We recommend to use always the current firmware version.

If you want to update a device with an old firmware you have to upgrade in these steps:

-> V01.06.03 -> V01.07.01 -> V01.07.03 -> // -> V01.08.01 // -> V01.09.01

Differentiation of the Hardware variants

• HWVar02 = BP2 MOST150
• HWVar03 = BP2 MOST25 12CAN (old)
• HWVar04 = BP2 MOST25 24CAN

After upgrading to firmware version from 01.07.0x to 01.08.0X all license files on the BLUEPIRAT2 are not valid any more and have to be created and installed new.

If you have not gotten new license files, please contact our support before you upgrade your BLUEPIRAT2 to firmware V01.08.0X.
Send our support an E-Mail with the serial numbers of the BLUEPIRAT2 data logger for which you need the new license files.
